Pin Chrome to Taskbar
Right-click on Chrome and Pin to taskbar.
Taskbar
- Right-click on Store on the taskbar and “Unpin from taskbar”.
- Right-click on Edge on the taskbar and “Unpin from taskbar”.
Teams
Go to the list on the left and choose Teams
Click on the “COMPUTERS” class.
- Go to the Files tab at the top.
- Click on Add shortcut to OneDrive.
Close the Teams app.
Copy Starting Folder
Go to File Explorer (the folder icon on the taskbar).
Go to your OneDrive folder…
You should see the Teams shortcut …
Select the COMP 8 folder to select it and copy (CTRL+C).
Click on your OneDrive on the left to go back to the main level and CTRL+V to paste the folder.
Pin to Quick Access
Make sure you are in your OneDrive folder, not the Teams synced folder!
Then right-click on the COMP 8 folder and Pin to Quick Access. You should then see it on the left…
Set Up
- Go into the Teams synced folder.
- Double-click to go into the set up folder.
- Select the AppData folder.
- Drag it over the SHORTCUT, then let go (to copy the files into it).
GameMaker Set up
Go to the One Drive > COMP 8 > GameMaker folder.
Double-click on the “Click It” file (or right-click and “Open With”)…
Click on Choose an app on your PC near the bottom…
Click on Windows (C:) at the top to go up a level…
Double-click on the Program Files (x86) folder …
Double-click on GameMaker 7. Then double-click on the red ball icon for Game_Maker.
Then click on Always.
The files will now all have the red icon like this.
Keep in mind, when opening files to work on, you will need to double-click on the file with the red icon (not the other one “.gb1”)
Bookmarks Bar
CTRL+SHIFT+B to show the bookmarks bar at the top.
Close Chrome and open it again to see the bookmarks bar.
