Set the font type to Postino, font size to 72pt.

If you don’t have that font go to Class Materials > resources and double-click on the BD_Cartoon_Shout and install it on your computer.

Click anywhere on the canvas (do not click & drag!) and type the letter “T”. Move it to the left side of the box, leaving a bit of room beside it.

Change the font size to 48.

Add more text – click anywhere on the canvas and type the name of the movie without the first letter: hor: The Dark World”. Then move it down over the rectangle, leaving a bit of space on the left. If the text doesn’t all fit in the rectangle, select the rectangle layer and CTRL+T to resize it.

Add layer styles:

  • Color Overlay (set to red or another bright color) and
  • Stroke to black (thickness 10).

Select the “T” layer and CTRL+T and make it bigger; [Enter] to apply the size.

Adjust the position of the movie name and the size of the rectangle as needed.

Select the text layers and group them (CTRL+G). Rename the folder “Text”.

Border

Select the photo layer, then add a blank layer above it. Rename it “border”.

Use the Rectangle Marquee tool to select a small rectangle along the top of the canvas. Start outside the top-left edge, going across and off the right edge.

Set your colors to default (‘D‘); Then fill the area with black using ALT+Backspace.

CTRL+D to deselect (or left-click anywhere on the canvas).

Now drag an area along the bottom, and fill it with black

Go back to the PSB file and add a Brightness/Contrast adjustment layer – brighten up the photo.

Save it and see if it’s better.

Change Text

Duplicate the Text folder (CTRL+J) and hide the original.

Change the text/words – double-click on the “T” for each text layer and change to different words/letters.
