Draw Outline

Create a new PS document with canvas size 1200x800px.

Oval

Select the Ellipse Tool.

Set the Stroke to any medium color for now, thickness/size to 10px; make sure no Fill.

Zoom out so you can see a good amount of space on the left. Draw the oval so it is about 1/3 width of the canvas with a nice curve. Make sure the edge of the oval is outside the top & bottom corners.

Lines

Click off to set the shape. Then go to the Ellipse Tool and change it to the Line Tool. It should have the same settings (no fill, stroke color, 10 px thickness)

Draw a horizontal line in the middle, starting from outside (hold SHIFT so it’s straight). Try to go until it snaps to the guide that will pop up when you touch the oval shape.

Draw an angled line like this, starting from outside the top of the canvas…
