Sky
Set the primary color to blue. Select the Gradient Tool.


Click and drag down on the canvas. [Enter] to set the colors.

Your Background layer should now look something like this…

Mountains
Mountain on the Right
Insert a new layer.


Select the Line/Curve tool. In the tool optoins, set the thickness to “10“.


Select the dark grey color.

Draw a line across the canvas, doing a little outside the edges, near the bottom like this…

Drag the circles/points to adjust the curves to get the mountain on the right.

Click off to set the line. Then select the Paint Bucket tool. Change the color back to light grey.


Then click inside the mountain area and [Enter] to finish.

Double-click on the layer and rename it to “mtn”.

Mountain on the Left
Insert another new layer. Rename it “mtn 2′.


Selectc the Line/Curve tool again. Set the color back to the same dark grey/color.


Draw a line across the canvas, going outside the edges. Then curve the line to get a mountain on the left, leaving a nice area for the sun between the mountains.

Select the Paint Bucket again, set the color to the lighter grey.


Fill the area.

Sun
Insert a new layer. Rename it ‘sun’.


Select the Shapes tool, then go to the top and select the Ellipse option.

Then set it to draw Fill & Outline mode. Set the outside and inside colors.


Click and draw out a circle/oval for the sun

Move the layer down below/behind the mountains. Select the Move tool and position it where you like it. [Enter] to get rid of the dotted outline.




Water
Add a new layer, rename it “water”.


Select the Shape tool, change it to Rectangle…

Choose a dark blue for the edge and a lighter blue for the fill color.

Draw a rectangle about 1/2 way up like this, make sure to go outside the sides and bottom…

Grass
Add a new layer, rename it “grass”.


Reset the color back to default, then choose a grass color.


Select the Line/Curve tool again. Draw a line across, then adjust the points to create a bit of curve.


Select the Paint Bucket and click 2x to fill in the area with no gaps…


Effects
Sun
Select the sun layer.

Then go to Effects > Blur > Gaussian Blur… and drag the slider up until you have a blurred sun like this…



Mountains
Select the left mtn layer.

Then go to Effects > Photo > Soften Portrait…(default settings)

Select the right mtn layer … then go to Effects > Repeat Soften Portrait at the top.



Water
Select the water layer.

Then go to Effects > Noise > Add Noise… drag the slider down for Color Saturation…



Then go to Effects > Distort > Crystalize (default settings)…


Grass
Select the grass layer.

Go to Effects > Distort > Dents…(default settings)


Clouds
Insert a new layer at the top, name it “clouds”.

Reset the colors to default…

Go to Effects > Render > Clouds…


Then double-click on the layer name to go to layer properties…



Here is the final result.
