Make sure you are on the Animations tab.

Open the Animation Pane.

Slide #1

Go to Slide #1 and click in the title box. Then go to add any type of green animation.

Choose any animation type (except “Appear”).

You should now see a #1 square beside the title box.

Hide Advanced Timeline

Right-click on the animation in the Animation Pane and set to Hide Advanced Timeline. You should now see a mouse icon beside the animation.

Step #1: Animate Lists

  1. Click in the text/list box.
  2. Add animation (choose any green animation)
    You should then see #s beside each bullet on the slide.

Repeat for the other list slides.

Expand the Lists

For each list slide, go to the Animation Pane on the right, and click on the grey bar to see the animations for each bullet.

Step #2: Animate Pictures

Select all the pictures on the slide (SHIFT-click) and add any green animation.

Pictures: “With Previous”

Right-click on the first Picture animation and change to start “With Previous”.
This should get rid of the mouse icon beside it.

Repeat for the other list slides, so the first Picture animation has a mouse icon.

Step #3: Picture Order

  • Picture #1:
    • On the slide: click on the picture for the 1st bullet.
    • Animation Pane: drag the highlighted picture up to under the 1st bullet
  • Picture #2: drag it up so it’s under the 1st bullet
    • On the slide: click on the picture for the 2nd bullet.
    • Animation Pane: drag the highlighted picture up to under the 2nd bullet
  • Picture #3: you don’t have to do anything for this picture; it’s already after the last bullet animation.

Repeat the same process for the other list slides.
