Make sure you are on the Animations tab.

Open the Animation Pane.

Slide #1
Go to Slide #1 and click in the title box. Then go to add any type of green animation.

Choose any animation type (except “Appear”).

You should now see a #1 square beside the title box.

Hide Advanced Timeline
Right-click on the animation in the Animation Pane and set to Hide Advanced Timeline. You should now see a mouse icon beside the animation.



Step #1: Animate Lists
Slide #7
- Click in the text/list box.
- Add animation (choose any green animation)
You should then see #s beside each bullet on the slide.



Go to the Animation Pane on the right, and click on the grey bar to expand the list of animations for each bullet.

Repeat for the other list slides.
- Add animation: click in the text box and add any green animation
- Expand list: click on the grey bar to expand the list in the Animation Pane
Step #2: Animate Pictures
Slide #7
- Select all the pictures on the slide (SHIFT-click) and add any green animation.


All pictures will have a “4” beside them.

- Right-click on the first Picture animation and change to start With Previous. This should get rid of the mouse icon beside it.



All pictures should now have a “3” beside them on the slide.

Slide #8-11
Repeat on the other list slides:
- SHIFT-click to select all the pictures and add any green animation.





- Set the first picture to come in With Previous in the Animation Pane.





The pictures should now all have a “3” beside them on the slide.




Step #3: Picture Order
Slide #7
- Picture #1:
- On the slide: click on the picture for the 1st bullet.
- Animation Pane: drag the highlighted picture up to under the 1st bullet
- When you let go, the # beside the picture on the slide should be “1”


- Picture #2: drag it up so it’s under the 1st bullet
- On the slide: click on the picture for the 2nd bullet.
- Animation Pane: drag the highlighted picture up to under the 2nd bullet
- When you let go, the # beside the picture on the slide should be “2”


- Picture #3: you don’t have to do anything for this picture; it’s already “3”, after the last bullet animation.

Repeat the same process for the other list slides.
