Format Text

Default Font

Start by selecting the entire page (CTRL+A). Then change the default font to Bookman Old Style, size 14.

Bullets

Select the last column and set to bullets.

Page Heading

Select the page heading “TV Shows” and set the font type to Showcard Gothic, size 36.

Column 1

Then select the first column and set to Showcard Gothic, size 22.

Center Page Heading

Center the page heading.

Spacing

Bottom Margin

Pull down the Bottom Margin using the Ruler to just a little bit past the 1/2″.

Paragraph Spacing

  1. Select all the text on the page (CTRL+A) and go to Paragraph options.
  2. Set the paragraph spacing to 6pt before & after, line spacing to Single and make sure the box is empty (not shaded or checked).

Table Alignment

Cell Alignment

Select the entire table. Then go to Table Layout > Alignment … and set to middle-middle.

Then select the 3rd column only and set to align left-middle.

Text Direction

  1. Select the first column.
  2. Click on Text Direction 2x until the text is like this…

Table Layout

Row Heights

Select the table using the 4-pointed arrow. Then change the row height to 2″.

Column Widths

Click in the 1st column. Change the column width to 1.3″

Click in the 2nd column. Change the column width to 2.8″

Click in the 3rd column. Change the column width to 2.4″

So far your page should look like this…

Borders & Shading

Borders

Select the entire table again. Go to Borders & Shading

  1. Choose a dark color (or leave it default/black)
  2. Change the size to 6pt
  3. Click on None
  4. In the Preview area, click the top & middle horizontal lines.
  5. Click on OK to close the window.

Your table should now look like this…

Row Shading

Click beside the 1st row to select it.

In the pop-up toolbar or on the Home tab, change the Shading to a light shade of the same color.

Click beside the 3rd row to select it and set it to the same shading color.

You should have table like this…

Pictures

For each picture you will need to adjust it by going to the Picture Format tab and using the Crop tool, changing the picture Height and adding a Quick Style.

  1. For each of the given photos below, right-click on it and “Copy Image”.
  2. Click in the empty cell in the 1st row and paste (CTRL+V).
  1. Crop > Aspect Ratio > 5:3
  2. Set the Height to 1.4″
  3. Set the Quick Style to the thin black border.
  4. Click off to set the picture.
